Our ethos as a restaurant group has always been based on encouraging people to get together – sharing laughter and good times over small plates and a glass of cold sherry. Given this runs contrary to the advice recently issued by the Government, we have taken the incredibly tough decision to close all four of our restaurants for the foreseeable future. This has been the hardest decision we have had to make in 15 years of operating the Salt Yard Group, but however painful it is, we believe it is the right thing to do.
We couldn’t possibly have imagined it would get to this point – what a year to be celebrating 15 years at the heart of the London restaurant scene. All of our restaurants have suffered challenges in the past few weeks and of course, so has the industry as a whole, but one thing is for certain; we’ve stood in the face of adversity before and survived, and we will do so again.
Once we have all weathered this unprecedented storm, we will be back. In the meantime we will be looking after one another; please also do the same. We must be comforted by the fact that there is light at the end of the tunnel and we can’t wait to see the terrace at Dehesa full and buzzing with activity, the embers of Ember Yard glowing once again, and most importantly, our SYG teams back in their rightful homes doing what they do best: welcoming and looking after our loyal customers. For now, this is just a short ciao from us.
We're happy to announce that we have now launch the opportunity to purchase gift vouchers to use when we are open.
Available for each of our restaurants, no value is too small, so whether you fancy treating yourself to Opera Tavern's famous Iberico pork burger that earned so many plaudits or to a cold glass of sherry to sip on whilst on Dehesa's gorgeous terrace, we've got you covered.
