About Us

At Salt Yard Group our mission is simple – to provide delicious food in a relaxed environment where the staff excel in friendliness, efficiency and product knowledge.

Training is the key to everything we do – Front of House we hold weekly training sessions on food, drink and service standards. Back of House we offer a diverse range of chef training programmes on skills that range from butchery to pasta making.

We nurture and train our staff tirelessly in order for them to excel and develop – because staff progression is vital for us. We have Sous Chefs that started off their career as Kitchen Porters and Front of House managers that started out as Runners.

Block 2

We are proud to be part of the Sustainable Restaurant Association and strive to run our restaurants in the most sustainable and ethical way possible. All five of our restaurants have been awarded a two-star Food Made Good Sustainability Rating as a result of sourcing locally and seasonally, reducing our carbon footprint and working to eliminate food waste.

Professional Cookery Apprenticeships


We are extremely proud to be teaming up with Westminster Kingsway Catering college to offer a Professional Cookery apprenticeship scheme to those who are passionate about food and cooking.
